If you or anyone you know is based out of Ontario, please see below for the following driver positions available with GMR Marketing...

GMR Marketing is seeking class AZ drivers with over 100,000 miles of on the road experience for a 4 month tour of Canada. Candidates will be expected to work up to 14 hours a day with one day off a week. Twin shared accommodations, meals, laundry and uniform will be provided.

Candidates must be available from the end of October 2009 until February 2010.

Job Duties:
Reporting to the Celebrations Manager, Class AZ drivers will be responsible for any and all aspects of vehicle operations pertaining to the celebrations infrastructure. Successful candidates will not only be required to drive to the celebration sites but also set up and tear down the celebration infrastructure once onsite. Drivers should adhere to all policies outlined in the crew handbook. In addition to the job duties outlined below, Class AZ Drivers should perform other duties as assigned by the Celebrations Manager to help generate a successful program.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess a valid Class AZ license as well as an excellent driving record and over 100,000 miles of experience
Common mechanical aptitude required
Ability to effectively communicate with multiple clients and vendors, while on site
Knowledge of the country, in terms of provincial driving laws as well as highway terrains
Ability to travel continuously and cautiously
Ability to interact well with consumers, while on site
Ability to perform multiple tasks under adverse conditions

Special Consideration
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This will include:
Assembling, dissembling objects and use of hand tools
Ability to lift and carry 50-100 pounds, unassisted
Must not be under the influence of a controlled substance, an amphetamine, a narcotic, or any other habit-forming drug while en route
