Who Will Be The Next FFE Great Truck Give-A-Way Winner?

FFE Transportation Services, Inc., one of the premier refrigerated trucking carriers in the country, is scheduled to give away a trucker's ultimate dream during the conclusion of their Driver Appreciation Week celebration in August 2005. This year will mark the second Freightliner Century show truck that has been given away by FFE to a well deserving driver. Requirements to be eligible include meeting a certain average of miles driven per week, having on time delivery, good customer service and observing minimal safety requirements. After careful review of all eligible drivers, Steve Hester was chosen as the winner of FFE's first Great Truck Give-A-Way.

Hester's unique story with FFE began in January 2004. Since 1978 he had driven as a company driver for various carriers and desperately wanted to jump-start his career as an owner operator, but lacked the funds to buy his own tractor. After researching several opportunities, Hester chose FFE because they offered one of the best lease purchase programs available with payments as low as $379.00 per week. With the FFE lease program, the company allows contractors the opportunity to purchase the tractor they've been leasing once their lease expires. Hester was also impressed with the way his recruiter, Stephanee Minter, was honest with him and cared enough to make him feel important.

When I signed on with FFE in January 2004 and first heard of the contest, I didn't think anything about it, said Hester. Before this, I've never won anything in my life. I certainly couldn't imagine winning something as nice as a brand new tractor. Right before I went to hear who the winner was, my mother told me I was going to win. And boy was she right!

After his big win, Hester has remained with the FFE and is very successful. He has been driving a dedicated run from California to the North East and is very thankful for it because it allows him to get home every two weeks for two to three days at a time. He plans on staying with FFE for as long as the company is in business. His advise for fellow owner operators includes, Keep the wheels running, keep good records and don't make a lot of stops.

Brian Etchision, Director of FFE's Owner Operator Division said, Lots of good things happened at FFE during 2004 and the company is continuing to grow in 2005. We are extremely excited to give away another truck this year. Eight months after Hester joined our company he won his dream truck, which goes to prove it doesn¹t matter how long a person has been with us to win the prize of a lifetime. Hester has been an excellent business man for our company and we would love to have 1,000 more just like him.

FFE is seeking company drivers and owner operators who have a good work ethic and like to earn good money. If you would like the chance to earn $1.02 per mile, along with a $2000.00 sign on bonus, call 1-800-569-9298 or visit www.ffeinc.com for more information about FFE and the opportunities waiting for you. Maybe you'll be the next winner of a Freightliner Century show truck, to be awarded in August 2005.
