MATS 2004: Almost Upon Us

Louisville, KY, February 26, 2004: The 33rd annual Mid-America Trucking Show is almost upon us and the entire industry is anxiously "Focused" on opening day.  With more than 1,000 industry leading companies from the continental U.S. and 12 foreign countries, the show will once again be the highlight of the year for the trucking industry, solidifying its position as the industry's leading tradeshow.

The Mid-America Trucking Show continues to be the annual focal point of the heavy duty trucking industry and the 2004 show will be no exception. With more than 1,000 Exhibitors currently signed up, the show will set the standard once again. In total, the show will encompass more than 1 million square feet of exhibit space at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Along with ground breaking product innovations and the latest in product unveilings, Attendees may bear witness to revolutionary business solutions, cutting-edge technologies, and the latest and greatest the trucking industry has to offer. Attendees are also invited to take part in educational seminars addressing industry issues and safety demonstrations, visit the Expedite InfoCenter to learn about this segment of our industry, visit Mid-America's Recruitment to see what trucking companies around the nation have to offer, and see the latest technologies at Mid-America's Internet and Technology Center. 

The 4th Annual Paul K. Young Memorial Truck Beauty Championship will showcase more than 130 of the most breath-taking show trucks ever seen. NASCAR legends Ken Schrader and Elliot Sadler will make an appearance courtesy of OTR/ProTrucker Magazines and The Midnight Trucking Radio Network will welcome Country Music Legend Crystal Gayle.

These and numerous other celebrities and entertainers are scheduled to attend. Friday, March 26 at 7:30 Kenworth will present The Charlie Daniels Band and Phil Vassar at Freedom Hall. Saturday night attendees can catch The Bill Gaither Homecoming. Traditionally, MATS has surpassed pre-show expectations, and preliminary indications are that the 2004 Mid-America Trucking Show will be heavily attended once again.
