Melton Truck Lines Welcomes Donnie Weathers, Manager of Contractor Services

Tulsa, OK-Melton Truck Lines is pleased to welcome Donnie Weather as Manager of Contractor Services. Melton’s fleet of independent contractors and lease purchase drivers has rapidly grown over the past year. Donnie will help ensure the further growth of the contractor division of Melton through programs that will train, coach, and counsel contractors to increase their success. He will also develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and increase communication.

Originally, from Hutchinson, Kansas, Donnie and his family currently reside in Inola, Oklahoma. Donnie joined Melton from Transport Industries where he was a manager of their Tulsa Terminal. Prior to entering the transportation industry, Donnie spent over 10 years in law enforcement and attended The University of Oklahoma. His trucking experience and experience managing independent contractors will be very beneficial as the fleet expands.

Melton Truck Lines, Inc. is an air-ride flatbed carrier serving the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Melton terminal locations include Tulsa, OK; Laredo, TX; and El Paso, TX. Melton’s corporate offices are located in Tulsa, OK.
