Bolt Express Driver of the Month enjoys work that matters

February 24, 2006, (Toledo, Ohio) – Martin Kantner, a straight truck owner operator from Princeton, Ind., was recently named the February Driver of the Month at Bolt Express, an expedite carrier based in Toledo.

Kantner, who joined Bolt in last year, says he enjoys doing work that matters. “Every load is important, of course. But I really feel good about delivering something that I know makes a difference to someone,” he says. “For example, I took two pediatric hospital beds to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville recently. At the hospital, they told me that the hospital was almost full and they really needed the beds. It was good to know that getting that load there on time and safely mattered to a lot of people.”
Off the road, Kantner enjoys relaxing at home with his wife Sheila.
