SMITH TRANSPORT SPONSORS NASCAR BUSCH CAR

Roaring Spring, Pa. (March 7, 2006) -- Smith Transport, headquartered in Roaring Spring, Penn. is sponsoring NASCAR Busch series racing car #43 this season for the team Curb Agajanian Performance Group owned by Motorsports Management International. The driver of the #43 car is Aaron Fike.

“We’ll be an associate sponsor for the season and a primary sponsor for the #43 car in Atlanta on March 18,” says Don Davis of Smith Transport. “The best part for us is sponsoring the car hauler. The back doors of the race car hauler will feature Smith Transport logos while traveling to and from NASCAR events.”

While Davis says the company has sponsored teams previously, this is the first full season to include a primary sponsorship. “There’s such a high energy level among NASCAR fans and Smith Transport is proud to be a part of that,” he says. “Many of our drivers are big fans. It’s fun for them to see us involved.”
