Paschall Truck Lines Announces 2003 Drivers of the Year

Paschall Truck Lines recently announced Linda Young as the Company Driver of the Year for 2003 and Albert & Ida White as the Owner-Operator of the Year for 2003. The Driver of the Year is one of the most prestigious awards a driver can receive, requiring not only excellent skills out on the road, but also hard work, dedication and a unique commitment to the company.

Company Driver of the Year, Linda Young, was also named the April 2003 Driver of the Month. She has been with PTL for two and a half years and enjoys the company’s great atmosphere and wonderful people. Young never expected to win Driver of the Year. “I am shocked to receive this award,” she said. “I feel that I am only a representative for Driver of the Year, all of the other Drivers of the Month winners also deserve this honor.”

Young thanks the entire staff at PTL, especially the dispatchers, and her family and friends for all of their support and help with her career. When she’s not on the road, this mother of two and grandmother of three, spends all her free time with family. Young is also a member of the Trucker Buddy Program, where one of her students is her granddaughter.

Owner-Operators of the Year, Albert & Ida White, were also named the August 2003 Owner-Operators of the Month. The Whites have been with PTL for four and half years now. They really enjoy the relationship they have with the company and appreciate the fact that PTL recognizes good work ethics. They are especially thankful to be rewarded in such high regard. “We were honored and surprised to receive this award and we want to thank all the people who voted for us and a special thanks to the support team that keeps us moving,” said the Whites.
