Marten Transport, Ltd. Chosen as Grand Champion Winner of the Georgia Truck Driving Championship

Marten Transport was among those who submitted their company information for the Georgia Motor Trucking Association’s 2004 Truck Driving Championship in May at Stone Mountain, Georgia. Because they had the best overall record and accident ratio of all carriers who submitted information to the GMTA and those who participated in the competition, Marten earned the prestigious title of overall Grand Champion Winner for the second time in three years.

The company also received 1st Place in the Line Haul Division and won 1st Place in the Large Carriers Division. Marten has won 1st Place in the Truckload Carriers Association’s Safety contest for five consecutive years and in 2001 took home the Grand Prize at the competition.
