Eagan, Minnesota — Minnesota-based truckload carrier Transport America announces its June 2006 Drivers of the Month. These drivers are recognized for their outstanding service to Transport America and its customers during the month of June.
Company drivers are David Richmond, with Transport America for eight months; Robert Burlingame, active on the PPG Fleet, with Transport America for eight years; and Greg Payne, a driving instructor and first place winner in the 2006 Minnesota State Truck Driving Championships, with Transport America for 10 years.
Professional contractors are Justice Bilson, with Transport America for eight years; Thomas Warrick, with Transport America for nine years; and Norman Weinstein, a former Transport America recruiter and also a March 2006 Driver of the Month, with Transport America for 11 years.
“Given the criteria, being selected as Driver of the Month is quite an accomplishment,” says Barry Mundt, Director of Fleet Operations. “The three company drivers and three professional contractors recognized this month represent the top six of 1,400 drivers and contractors at Transport America,” he said.
Transport America congratulates these drivers on achieving this month’s award. Each driver will be presented their award in a formal presentation at Transport America headquarters in Eagan, MN.
