PrePass® To Hold Driver Appreciation Event

PHOENIX, AZ – PrePass®, the Nations’ Premier Weigh Station Bypass Service, will be hosting a Driver Appreciation Event to honor all those devoted commercial drivers on our roads. This event will consist of free food hot off the grill, drink, and an opportunity to win NASCAR Checker Auto Parts 500 tickets. Drivers wanting to enroll in PrePass at this event will get their first invoice payment waived.

PrePass® is the first commercially-available, coast-to-coast electronic preclearance system that enables qualified motor carriers to comply electronically with state weight, safety and credential requirements while traveling at normal highway speeds. Motor carrier participation is strictly voluntary and carrier participation is subject to state qualification standards. The advantages for motor carriers are that each truck equipped with PrePass® saves at least five minutes and roughly one-half gallon of fuel with each successful bypass.

Twenty-four states have deployed PrePass®: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Nebraska, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
