Tampa, Fl.– Judy Thornsberry, driver recruiter for CTL Distribution, won the first awarded CTL “Bull Dog” Performance Award. The “Bull Dog” award is a monthly award that acknowledges the efforts of the most productive employee within CTL.
Thornsberry, an employee of CTL for 11.5 years, was promoted to Driver Recruiter in March of 2005. Since then she has put Tampa in a position to be the largest terminal in the company and brought the terminal back from a 20-driver deficit.
“Judy routinely goes above the call of duty such as scheduling road tests on weekends to get people set for a Monday orientation or making sure her drivers get their sign on bonus, experience credit, or tuition reimbursement. She is a true bulldog regarding her performance in every sense of the term,” said Ken Wieck, CTL Director of Human Resources and Driver Recruiting.
