Successful Owner Operator says BTC treats him like family

According to owner operator Joe Kirkpatrick, it’s the little things that set flatbed carrier BTC apart from other carriers in the industry.

“It may seem small, but it means a lot for everyone to know my name -- to walk in the terminal and hear people say ‘Hi Joe!’ It makes you feel like you’re part of a big family.” says Kirkpatrick who has been driving professionally since 1976. “I’m not a rookie anymore, but I still try to learn something new every day.”

Kirkpatrick, who lives in Carbondale, AL., says BTC has the big advantages covered as well. “I stay mostly in the southeast so I get home every other night and every weekend,” he says. “That’s important to my family which includes my wife, Sharon and two daughters.”
