This bonus will be paid out every 60k miles an Owner Operator drives. For its current fleet of Owner Operators, Barr-Nunn will use miles that the O/Os have been accumulating over the year towards their next safety pay raise as a way to "jump-start" the 60,000 mile tracking. Additionally in 2006, the company has increased its Owner Operator Band Pay for all complete loads hauled that are less than 1000 miles.

On top of all these increases for Owner Operators, Barr-Nunn will be continuing its one-of-a-kind Fuel Protection Guarantee Program, at $1.24 per gallon, to show its continued concern for keeping its drivers protected.
