MTA Mission:

The mission of the Michigan Trucking Association (MTA) is to serve the interests of the trucking industry; enhance the industry's image, efficiency, productivity and competitiveness; promote highway safety; provide educational programs; and work for a healthy business environment

As a statewide, full-service trade association, the Michigan Trucking Association has promoted the interests of Michigan motor carriers since 1934. Over 900 motor carriers and affiliated companies have received immediate returns on their MTA membership investment.
